The Leonardo Express is non-stop between Fiumicino and Roma Termini: 32 minutes, 14 euro single, a departure every 15 minutes. Aeroporti di Roma publishes departures from Termini between 04:50 and 23:05, and from Fiumicino between 05:38 and 23:27. Trenitalia sells four tickets in a single transaction for 40 euro instead of 56.

The FL1 regional line also serves the airport, every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes at weekends and on holidays, but it stops and it runs to other Rome stations including Roma Tiburtina rather than to Termini.

The railway station is inside the airport area, close to the arrival and departure terminals and signed from them, so there is no shuttle leg to build into your timing.

Coaches to the city are run by several operators: Rome Airport Bus from stand 19, SIT Bus Shuttle from stand 16, T.A.M. from stand 17 and Terravision from stand 18, with Cotral stopping at Terminal 1 and the interregional bus hub on the arrivals level of Terminal 3, at stands 20 to 26 beside exit 6. Night services towards Roma Termini exist. The airport publishes no fares, so check the operator you pick.

The standard ATAC city ticket (BIT, 1.50 euro, 100 minutes from validation) is expressly not valid on the non-stop Trenitalia Termini to Fiumicino train or on the special Cotral airport link, and any city ticket must be validated at the start of the journey and stamped again when you enter the metro.
